Erin M. Gallagher, PhD

Founder + Resilience Coach

A native of New York City, I have been an educator since 2003. Throughout my career I have been a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, teaching students how to have agency in their own lives. I also firmly believe that educators need more emotional support. I left my career in teaching so that I could be of greater service in the mental health field, and better the social emotional lives of young people and the people that support them.

I am a certified Resilience/Life Coach and a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens Coach, have been trained in Positive Neuroplasticity, REBT and EFT. I live in Brooklyn, am one of those weirdos who loves running, prefer tea to coffee and want to be a drummer in a rock band when I grow up. I'm thrilled you're here and can't wait to get to work. Want to learn more about me and Why I Do What I Do? You can find that here

Keep on, keeping on.

For Young and Emerging Adults

Facing a life transition, moment of struggle or just need to talk it out?
I got you.

Young and Emerging Adulthood can be super tricky. Gen Z is faced with unprecedented opportunity — but also unprecedented stress. Schools often do not have the resources to support individual students in significant ways while they're in school, let alone support them as they transition out of school. In One-to-One and Small Group Coaching, I use a variety of techniques and approaches to help you cope with and reduce stress and anxiety, as well as work through life transitions, goal setting and attainment, identity exploration and general happiness and well-being. I'm not going to tell you what to do. You set the agenda and I help you crush it. Let's do this.

For Educators

Feeling burned out, overwhelmed or like something is missing? Yep. Been there. Let's talk.

Teacher Appreciation needs to be more than some cookies and a punny card. Teacher appreciation needs to take the form of real mental health support, concrete coping mechanisms/strategies, and a non-judgmental space in which to work through very legitimate stressors, anxieties and struggles. In One-to-One and Small Group Coaching, I hold that space for you. Having been there myself, I know both the struggles and the successes. In coaching we will work on unburdening stress, rebounding from burnout and achieving wellness goals. Teachers deserve more. You deserve more. I can't wait to hold this space for you.

I'll get back to you within 24 hours!
